Claude Bootcamp testimonials

Their work. Their words.

Attendees of the Claude Bootcamp share what they learned and put into practice. Their classes were hosted by Trial Lawyers University in Hermosa Beach, California.

“Matthew and Shemia’s Claude Bootcamp was like being shot out of a cannon. We came in thinking we were using Claude and left realizing how much more we could do with it and a pathway to realize it. Since then, we’ve had Claude rebuild our task management as a custom tool that now runs our whole social content and media strategy at no extra cost, which is wild. We’re also retooling onboarding for our keynotes and retreats. Without that course, we wouldn’t have had the kickstart we needed. The return we’re seeing is many times over the investment and I highly recommend to any business owner.”

What would you tell somebody if they were like, oh, I don't know. Like, I already used Claude. to go to a whole boot camp on it. Yeah. Just make it brief, you know, you can either use AI or you can manage it. And I think that if you learn how to manage it to your benefit, It'll benefit your practice, your people around you. Because the other side's using it too, and you gotta be prepared. So, but I caution, you gotta take a 2nd look. You got to make sure that there's a human aspect to it because at the end of the day, we're trial lawyers, and we got to go present the information. Have you gotten stuff out of this two-day boot camp? that people want to come back to? I certainly have. And, um, I just go back to, I was a user of Claude, now I manage it. I love it. I love it.

Dan Ambrose, did you learn anything in this two day Claude workshop? Oh, man, my mind was blown. I'm so excited about this next trial now. I was really dreading about all the work that I have to do, 'cause I like the performance part. The doing, not the grinding through, the transcript, sourcing them, trying to figure out where everybody lied about what, told a different story about everything. And now, I don't have to do any of that. Now, I mean, this is just, you know, it broke the first person, then I realized I have to go through it all, and find tooth comb it, and do a lot of effect checking, just to make sure that when I go to, like, key impeachment source, that's where it's supposed to be, but it's such a head start, that it's, like, that pressure. And then, I learned how to search to write this... I have been working on this case that had to go through finding a lot. It search through emails and documents in it. I was dreading that, too, but now I'm dreading it less. It's not just getting my diagnosis, giving me analysis. It's such a great head start. I'm so excited. Yeah.

Jelani, if somebody was like, oh, I don't need, like, a two day, like, I already need to use AI. What'd you get out of the last couple days? We need to use AI. You need to use AI because it's gonna improve everything that you do. Your productivity's gonna go up. Your ability to think and to maintain yourself and really use your brain the way you need to do, to really excel is going to be there. So you need to certainly look into AI. It's not as scary as it seems. And if somebody's like, I'm already an expert in this, I don't need a two-day, I don't need a two-day boot camp, have you got anything out of the last couple days? I was almost like an AI expert before. So, you know, in the last 2 days, I have learned an entirely new system, new frameworks, and like broadened my horizons dramatically by using this. So it's great for everybody, even those of us who are already proficient. awesome.

If somebody was like, I know you gotta go, but if somebody was like, I don't need to go, like, was it worth it the last two days, the last two days? This has been the most important meeting I have ever attended in my entire career. Wow. And I've attended a lot of damn meetings. You've gotten to learn the way to use these tools make you a better lawyer. Not only me, it's gonna make my entire firm a better practice. I love it. I love it.

Meg, now you're on camera. So what would you say to somebody? They were like, oh, I'm not sure I want to go. That feels like a couple of days? Like, it's not gonna be worth the time. Oh, okay. If you want to lose cases. Don't take this workshop. If you think, you know, as much as a computer does, don't take this workshop. If you're that confident. However, if you're not that confident. I know there's potential, and that your settlements can probably go up, seven figures, take this workshop, and you'll know what it's made of. It has taught me to be organized. It has taught me what I don't know. It has taught me how I could work better, work more efficiently, and it also taught me how, like, I have a lot of pro bono cases that I don't necessarily want to have my employees working on them, and cowork is, like, literally 7 employees in one. So take the workshop. test it out. And I promise you, when you walk out the door, you will thank God that you took this workshop.

Somebody was skeptical and they were like, oh, I'm not sure if I should come. What would you say to somebody that was like, I'm not sure if I should go do a TLU Claude boot camp. Oh, like, why would you even question yourself? Like just go do it. Like, this is where the world is going. And if you want to practice law in the future and actually be able to keep up with the other side and your fellow colleagues, then this is what you're going to need, period. Have you gotten stuff out of the last 2 days of what Matthew and I have shown? Oh yes. Yes. And I was using it before, but like I've exponentially increased. I love it. I love it.

What would you say if somebody was like, I don't know, I don't know if I need to go to a two-day boot camp. I already use AI. know what I'm doing. Yeah. No, AI, it's a community, right? So it's like, it's always better to come and learn from other people or just... So, like, this is really fascinating for me. You know, it's kind of jumping on the surfboard. Oh, you know, it's exhilarating. When you're on your own, you might learn one thing and like, ooh, I check something out, you know, but this is like putting the whole universe and AI together. Like, oh, it all comes together. And so we'll go through it and we'll stop and everybody will kind of work on it and it come back with how that particular application worked for him. And then we have shares. So it was like, it's really a growing experience. It's, like, creating a comfort level for everyone. And then it's, like, it just, it's, like, mastery, you know, because you come up with ideas. There's no way you can do something like this on your own. So you'd be crazy not to come. You don't want to isolate yourself, you want to power up, come together, follow Shemia's lead. When you sign up. So you got some good stuff out of the last couple days? I got so much stuff. Every minute, I got something, you know what I'm saying? Like, I was so afraid to keep going on it, and so this is so useful. Check your privacy thing, okay, boom. This is the way you want to do it. This is where you're saving your work, 'cause you go. This is how you can upload. So I really loved it. I learned how to use it. So, and use it properly. Cool.

So, did you figure some stuff out? I did, yeah. I definitely figured out that I need to be a lot more specific, I think, in some of my instructions. Um, but the fact that I can get it to do a whole bunch of stuff with my calendar and then eventually with my email as I clean up, you know, my too specific in some areas and not specific enough in others behavior, I really think that this is going to help me keep the practice running smoothly. Would you recommend it to other paralegals and legal assistants and people who run law firms? Yes, absolutely. I mean, I don't, you know, given the size of our practice, there's no way that I can do everything. You know, myself. Uh, and so this is basically like having an assistant with like infinite capacity. So, yeah, I love that. It's pretty exciting. That's a great description.

A good first step

Start with a conversation.

Bring a question, a bottleneck, or an idea for doing things differently. We’ll work out where AI can help and what kind of support makes sense.

The first call is free, on Zoom, and needs no preparation. For on-site work, I travel anywhere in North America.
